Without forests, there is no water.
Without water, there is no food.
And without food, there is no future.

About #Forests4food
Forests feed our planet, from Brazil to Belgium. But the way we produce our food is destroying them, threatening our health, water security, livelihoods, and cultures — especially for communities who did the least to cause the climate crisis.
Now is the time to act. For our forests. To fix our food systems. For our future. #Forests4Food

The fight against hunger is inseparable from the fight against deforestation.
#Forests4Food is a global campaign led by Ação da Cidadania and the SDG2 Advocacy Hub. Our goal is clear: to ensure that sustainable food systems and forest preservation are at the heart of COP30, the United Nations Climate Conference to be held in Belém, Brazil.

Food systems are also climate and social agendas
At COP30, we brought this agenda to the center of global decision -making and demanded real commitments to tackle hunger and the climate crisis.
Our letter was supported by dozens of organisations and our petition was signed by more 55,000 people from across the world. We delivered the petition and open letter to President Lula and directly to Brazilian Minister Wellingtion Dias during the conference, affirming that the fight against hunger must be placed at the heart of climate decisions and public policies.
With the COP31 on the horizon, we continue immediate actions for the conservation of forests and to strengthen our food systems.
Forests, food, and climate: why this is everyone’s fight.
Here you’ll find a collection of articles and stories from experts, affected communities, activists, and partners. Our goal is to broaden the conversation about the links between food systems, climate justice, and forest protection.
